Located in Charente-Maritime just 5km from the beaches of Royan and Saint-Georges-de-Didonne, the Chênes de Médis campsite proposes mobile home and chalet rentals.
The campsite water park offers a complete change of scene with its natural swimming pool and beach of white sand, a heated indoor pool, a snake slide for children, 2 waterslides including one for tubes and, for adrenalin seekers, a Space Bowl slide! The pool area is ideal for families: little tots can splash about with their buckets and spades at the water’s edge, while the older children have fun on the slides!
Royan is a seaside resort with long sandy beaches and coves, but it also boasts an important architectural heritage consisting of Belle Epoque villas. Many activities can be enjoyed on the waters of the Gironde estuary, like boat trips along the Médoc coastline, or longer excursions to the Marennes-Oléron area.
There’s a multitude of natural and historic sites waiting to be discovered: Cordouan Lighthouse, the conserved Gallo-Roman buildings of Saintes, and La Rochelle with its towers and superb port.

With the Fun Dose, you can choose the right campsite for the whole family. There are four different entertainment levels: green, blue, purple, and red. The fuller the bottle, the more entertainment there is! If the potion vial is green or only half full, then there is little entertainment on site. If the vial is red or nearly full, plenty of entertainment is available.
No matter the level of the Fun Dose, the mini-clubs and participation in all activities are free of charge.
On this campsite the Fun Dose is red. This means there is a lot of entertainment provided!
From Monday 8th July to Friday 30th August 2024, we offer the following entertainment free of charge:
-The Clapou Club (4-6 years old) and Policator Club (7-10 years old) welcome children from Monday until Friday, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. and from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.
-The Nobodys (11-17 year olds) meet up twice a week.
-We offer evening entertainment 5 nights a week, 4 entertainers, aqua gym every morning and an almost non-stop super fun day and evening program until midnight!
-Entertainment on French campsites starts from the 8th July (in French). On Dutchbox campsites the French animation team includes 1 Dutch speaking entertainer.
In the Netherlands, we offer entertainment from Saturday 6th July to Sunday 1st September 2024.
